Promoting and engaging the local community through PR

Jomast is one of the UK’s leading property development, investment and regeneration specialists with combined real estate assets in excess of £250 million. Jomast challenged us to engage the local community through ongoing B2B and B2C PR campaigns, with the aim of ultimately building the Jomast brand and promoting the various redevelopment projects in the North East which the company had lined up. Initially, we identified the various media outlets which would reach the defined target audience and contacted these outlets to establish a relationship. Newsworthy stories were identified and a 12 month plan was set out detailing each story to be written and distributed.

To date, The Creative Alchemist has written and distributed 15 press releases to local and trade media lists on behalf of Jomast, which detail various projects across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire. Media impact has been consistent and impactful with regular coverage secured in local publications including The Gazette, The Northern Echo and Insider Media, as well as numerous social media shares and updates. As a result, Jomast’s reputation in the local area has risen to that of a major player in the local property development industry. The PR activities are set to continue throughout 2018 with a number of exciting news stories and announcements in the pipeline from Jomast.
